Welcome

What is it?

Senior Alpha is a course consisting of a series of talks relating to the Christian faith.

There is time to eat and chat together at the beginning of each session, which gives people a chance to get to know each other. There is then a talk, after which we divide in to small groups to discuss the topic, ask questions and express opinions - listen, learn, discuss and discover. You can ask anything – Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.

Who is it for?

Senior Alpha is for anyone of the older generation who would like an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.

For the first time, people aged 60 plus form a larger part of the population than those 16 and under.

Courses are run in people’s homes, in churches, in sheltered accommodation and residential homes.

How much?

There is no charge for the Alpha course, although you may be asked to make a donation towards food.
